Via ferrata - literally 'iron road' - is a climbing route along a rock set out with steel cables. At R2G we make this challenging activity suitable for (almost) everyone. We provide safe materials (climbing harness, carabiners, helmet) and clear instructions. This approach ensures that even inexperienced climbers can easily conquer the via ferrata.
Activity or course
We offer via ferrata and tyrolienne as a sporting activity, but also as a course. The choice is yours! In both cases, you will receive proper guidance in order to participate safely. Of course, you can also choose to try out (one of) the activity(ies) first. If you like it, sign up for a course and improve your climbing skills further.
Safety is paramount in all our sessions. We only work with quality materials and with experienced colleagues who supervise the activities professionally. The only thing you need are sturdy shoes. Experience the benefits of spending an afternoon climbing the via ferrata or the tyrolienne. You get a sense of achievement, team building and shared enjoyment.
No experience needed
The great thing about these two activities is that you don't need any experience. Our colleague will give you all the explanations and instructions, help you put on your climbing harness and soon you'll be climbing and 'zip-lining' yourself! You learn to focus, to use your breathing and to align body and mind. This all has a stress-relieving effect and increases your sense of well-being.
A session or course of via ferrata or tyrolienne lasts between 1 and 3 hours. This depends on the size of the group and the activity(ies) you want to do.
