Product information "Rapide Leather Wash"
Rapide Leather Wash is the specially concentrated detergent for leather, leather, suede, nubuck, wool and combinations of these materials, both for hand-washing and washing. Rapide Leather Wash cleans with care and finesse, has a re-lubricating, nourishing effect on the material and refreshes the colour. Always carefully read the washing instructions in the label of the clothing.
Instructions for machine washing: shake the bottle before use. Clean detergent residue from washing machine. Use 50ml. leather wash and select the wool wash programme and wash at 30° maximum (consult washing label!). Check that all detergent residues have been removed properly, otherwise rinse again. Drying; preferably tumble dry suede and nubuck, this gives a softer feel to the material. (Do not dry in the sun). After the suede/nubuck material is dry, brush with a suede brush so that the material feels soft again. Let wool and leather dry at room temperature lying or hanging, turning regularly. After the leather is completely dry, finish with leather dressing or leather wax so that the leather feels supple again. This also gives it protection.
Instructions for hand washing: use approx. 25 ml. to 10 litres of water, soak the material regularly and then rinse well until the water looks clear again. For drying see above. Warning: danger of serious eye damage. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting, consult a doctor immediately and show the label. Keep out of the reach of children.
Tip: Wash woollen clothing as little as possible: airing is often sufficient! To make stinging woollens softer: soak woollens in cold water with kitchen vinegar for 4 hours (ratio 1 litre of vinegar to 10 litres of water, be careful with too much vinegar or soaking for much longer: then the colours will fade instead of helping to fix the colours). Then rinse the clothes by hand under the cold water tap. And wash it with 20ml Rapide Leather Wash for fresh scent, on a wool wash cycle or by hand.
